 He continues with an exclamation mark
 It has always been that way
 Somewhere around the middle
 I unintentionally place a comma
 And he chose to replace it with a semicolon
 From there on everything I said was in quotation marks
 - Lying under some binding oath -
 He put our foolish little romance into Brackets
 Making the truth bold and underlined
 My thoughts lifted into the headline voicing
 I love you
 He responded in the footnote with dot dot dot
 Along those lines a period appeared
 And right now
 
 We are not even on the same page
