Pain crashed on earth a very long time ago
Glowing with achingness
It was the first emotion to be found
It was created first so the best could be saved for last
Love came next
It was resting soundly on an apple tree waiting to be picked up and swallowed in a hug
Then came happiness
It was found everywhere
Clones spread
The earth which had no color became the brightest and most vibrant
The other planets envied earth
Pure green grass, clear blue oceans, thick rich mud
From above it was decided that a utopia could never happen
But at least there were gifts to be given instead
Love, Happiness and Pain might make an imperfect world
But that’s better than a perfect one that wastes one’s heart with emptiness
