Books
I flip through pages of books
Lives, stories, and fantastic adventures
Await whoever dares
To open its cover and read its words
That lay ahead in black ink
They spell and they flow
And fill your mind
With fantasies and fairy tales
Of love and of evil
Of which there is plenty
As far as I see,
But when you do
Dare a quick glance
Into unreal worlds
And very real people
Learn the impossible
And do it for all
Show what you've learned
What you've gained
What you anticipate
By showing a sweet word
For a feeling of adventure
As you sum it all up
Remember what you know from
Books
