A Day at the Zoo

Trapped here, in this concrete confinement
Ripped away from my home
Far away from my family
Spending each day here alone
Hundreds of people walk by each day
No one sees my predicament
Not one person stops to help me
So I must spend each night here alone
All I want is to fly again
Out into the sunset
To be with my friends and family
All I want is to be free
Don’t leave me here alone
