Dust Particle
Time is a particle of dust
Floating through the air.
Stopping at nothing
To continue on.
I lie in my bed as a seventeen year old girl.
In three years I will be a twenty year old girl.
What is the difference,
Besides two more years of human experience?
The dust will continue.
And so will I,
Until eventually something stops us:
Time itself.
And to dust I return.
