She Lived in the Past too Long, and Never Left
Her room of memories
wasn't anything too special,
just an empty room
with every colour one could think of
on the walls,
the colours weren't paint though,
they were in pictures.
Millions of pictures over lapping
each other
covering the walls, and ceiling
some even were on the floor.
Everywhere she looked
was a memory,
good and bad,
terrible and wonderful,
sad and hilarious.
For hours she would sit,
looking at her memories,
not too long
she never left
and she became
a memory,
herself.
