Believe it or not I'm trying
Please do try to have some faith in me
I am trying to change my ways
Trying to get clean
It's not easy when my "friends" are mean
They tell me not to quit
They say that doing acid
Is no sin..
All I want to be is clean
Get these drugs out of my system
No more beautiful hallucinogens..
I start rehab soon.
I'm beyond terrified.
but dear Mum and Dad
Believe it or not I'm trying
Trying to do you proud..
Trying to get clean..
Trying to find the real me.
