Every Day I'm Missing Her
Through all the days and nights,
We always had no fights.
We came close here or there,
But each time, apologies were to spare
Thoughts of her run through my head
Every night as I lay in bed.
Every sacrifice I made,
They all seemed to fade.
When she came along,
I heard a resounding "GONG!"
My heart reached to her, and her heart to mine.
Suddenly everything seemed just fine.
We had our ups and downs,
But decided no one truly frowns.
Every time I felt sad,
She came along to take all the bad.
They say teen relationships never last,
But ours was solid as a cast.
No need to see face to face,
We were tied together by an eternal lace.
And now that I've wronged her, I don't want her to deterr
All of the Apologies that I've said,
As I lay here in this lonely bed.
I miss her every day,
As my mind returns to the bay.
I just want her back, and not to fade.
I miss my only Jade.
