Senses
Can you smell that?
That is the smell of crimson iron
Dripping from my veins…
I pressed to hard.
Can you hear that?
It’s the sound of me sobbing
Into my pillow…
I think I’m okay.
Can you taste that?
It is the taste of bitter regret..
Knowing I could've been saved…
Not anymore.
Can you see that?
That is the sight of the dirt
That makes up my grave…
But I’m not there.
Can you feel that?
That’s the feel of my spirit,
Telling you it’s okay…
You hear me now?
