I remember time passing so slowly,
I used to scream at it to hurry up,
because I want my freedom,
as I looked up I realized who was boss,
and it wasn’t me,
I find myself begging for a higher paycheck,
but twists the gears even faster,
I walk away in defeat,
realizing my freedom has flown away with him…
I am his prisoner.
