"In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility." ~Eleanor Roosevelt

Just a worn down pair of jeans,
Dark blue at the waist,
Torn at the knees

Having no meaning,
Having no heart,
Lost in a gust of cold wind

A tall hollow tree,
Rough and blank,
Chilling inside

Having no meaning,
Having no heart,
Lost in a cold gust of wind

Rackety old cabin,
Musty sent inside,
Wood peeling off the sides

Having no meaning,
Having no heart,
Lost in a cold gust of wind

Feeling of being,
Torn in half

Love this poem; you already know why. The emotion is overpowering and its what anyone can relate to.... It deserved to be in the showcase. Love the repetition and ending. Great Job!!
