Chills
Chills dance along my skin,
As I scrunch up my arms,
Trying desperately to contain
Any heat
The wind gently brushes,
Along my shivering body,
Chilling to
The bone
Without a warm snug home,
I’m a vulnerable blade of grass,
Waiting to be swept
Away
The winds quicken,
Whipping against my limp body,
Creeping inside
My soul
The blade of grass,
Slowly, quietly gets swept away,
In a cold gust
Of wind
Chilling
