Clueless
She looks at me
She passes me
But I don’t think she sees
Her eyes are set on greater things
And one of those things, they are not me
She is surrounded by friends, the sun in the solar system
Never does she think, Oh, I missed him
I may be going out on a limb
Or maybe I’ve been balancing too long on the rim
There’s something there in the blue
Those eyes of hers, makes me think she knew
Maybe she does
Doesn’t
But, oh, in the end, I wish we both just got a clue
