"There are three rules to writing a novel. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are." W. Somerset Maugham

I was busy
Living such a dull story
It had gray clouds
And a stupid square, white fence
But at some point
You walked through that gate
I was too busy Waiting
for something else
You said something
That i now can't quite recall
It went like:
"You're waiting on nothing at all"
That's where it all began...
Don't give me that
Hesitant smile
That "How are you?"
Stop making my heart leap
Quit taking the ground from beneath my feet
I don't want that
No not at all
Cuz' i was plenty pleased
With my view of the ground
Until you went
And pointed out the clouds
