The Colors of My Life
Most days I’m ocean blue--
calm and collected
like waves of a crystal clear ocean
softly crashing against the shore.
But every once in awhile
I’m fire engine red--
happy and crazy and loud and noticeable,
racing through town with all the lights and sirens on.
Together they make purple.
Together it is complete serenity.
