Diamonds
There is a world everyone sees
When they are in a state of sadness
Where lights shine bright
And are scattered around the room
Into a million pieces
And they’re the only one who can see it
Everything becomes more defined
Or is it less?
It depends on how squinted your eyes are
Or how much water is in them
Most people say this world is bleary
But I’ve seen it less enough to know
The scattered diamonds on the floor
And lights dancing before my eyes
Is nothing short of beauty
