To Be A Burden
I walk along this beach
For I am lost with no one coming to find me
For there is no one who sees me lost
For all they care I've disappeared
And they finally have one less care
The burden of me lifts from their feet and they can finally move on without me
For they no longer care and that burden of me now sags down among my own shoulders
I can no longer breathe as I begin to see my own life flash before my eyes
I'd fight to live
To be alive just for them
But them is long gone so there is no longer a reason for me to go on
So I tell myself to let go and I drowned
And sink to the bottom of the ocean
