The Love I'd Always Been Missing
I don't want to wake up every day
 And know you're still gone
 I don't wanna see you're away
Need your touch I've been missing so long

 I don't know if you're coming back and I don't know when
Don't know if I should be dwelling on my past
Because you might not be coming back in the end
Wish I could've made our love last

Not one article of your clothing in the house
Not one reminder of you lying around
 It's like you've disappeared without a trace
Been a while, can't picture your face

If you come back to me
 Eventually somewhere down the road
Will you too see all the things we used to be?
 All the things we'd known?

But now when I wake up every day
 A new face is there
 Smiling back at me
Meaning so much more to me, because they actually care

And hand in hand with interlocked fingers, walking in sync
I'm glad to say I've finally found the love I'd always been missing
