Dark Crowds
A poor man's wealth is honor and a rich man's debt is shame. What do I have to offer when the world calls my name? Can I set free the true me and let the judgers call me out? Or will I bury the real key and drown in the heartless crowd? I have beauty and flaws, but I walk faceless in the open. I stumble and crawl when I wear a mask that's broken. Why can't I understand who I really am? And believe the voice that loves me? Why not open my eyes and drop the disguise? And surmount the belief and faith in the cruelest words, in a crueler song, the saddest place where I belong
Rise above me, scared thoughts, fly above me bleak clouds, so I can love me, dark crowds, so I can love me
