You Use to Love Me
The smile she has on her face
That use to be me
The laugh she has as you tickle her
That use to be me
The warm kisses and hugs you give to her
They were once mine
The looks across the room with the smile so wide
That use to be us
Reading each others minds
That was our thing
She is your present and future
But what about me
I’m your forgotten memories
Left out of your mind
Put out like trash
She has your heart
But I’m torn apart
You use to love me
You use to care
You use to be there
I’m nowhere to be found
Why?
Because I’m still in a past
A past that has a place where I was once yours
The love we had is no more
My heart won’t cry any more
But all I keep thinking is
You use to love me
