"I will work harder" (animal farm boxer the horse)

Mother? I want to know something.
Where is my Papa.
You told me he was somewhere far away, chasing the sun and the moon.
I thought all that was true.
Then my eyes have opened and I noticed the empty picture frames.
His presence is absent in our collection of memories.
I've heard millions of stories of my Papa yet how many are part of this reality.
The only part of him I have is my art, you told me he always created something when he had a chance.
He was a dreamer like me, I was a believer like him.
What happened to him Mother?
Tell me...
Was it my fault?
Was it my existence that forced Papa into his journey?
Was I too much? Too much of a burden? A hinder to his freedom? Was I an eclipse to his beaming light?
It doesn't make sense Mother.
Is he even alive?
Just tell me Mother!
My heart is growing sullen and my mind more realistic.
I'm losing the one thing I have in common with Papa.
My imagination and dreams.
I want to have closure if Papa is in fact.... gone.
Just tell me please Mother.
Where's Papa?

Again, this is an emotional piece. Sincere from start to finish. One thing: I think you missed a question mark after, "Where is my Papa." I'm not sure; I thought I'd just point it out. Other than that, I love how you describe yourself as your dad. Also how you blame yourself that he's gone. I think kids and teens always blame themselves for their parents' situations. Always. You brought innonce to it. And it's marvelous.
