Life; The Smell of Dust After Rain
It’s like petrichor—
The cradling sincerity of
blood kissing the tile floor.
The poor man entreating
while the senate acquires more.
The liquor’s sensation, like
a child’s mighty roar.
The heartbreak of losing a
hated one.
The out broken cries of
seeing that the Bible may have won.
The gentle murder of
a noxious psychopath.
The grand appeal of
the devil’s wrath.
And slayer love swelling inside
a couple just way too fast.
Sweet petrichor; the result of “opposites attract”.
