White Flower
Through the forest I walk to find a place of tranquility,
Into the cove that has been untouched by the world.
There lies a flower behind the moss covered rocks,
With white canvas pedals and lush emerald shoot.
To search for such a thing would take a lifetime yet,
I'm next to one every day.
I can't take into consideration the beauty behind those eyes,
They stare deep into my soul.
I should stare back but only for a short glance,
For my love for the flower is beyond imagination and its beauty too great.
Oh! Sacred flower be the light to guide me for eternity,
Be the one to allow me to live my life with.
Take me back to the days of our youth,
Allow me not to make the same mistakes.
Give me a second chance,
And should you not look beyond what is in front of you.
What lies truly close to you,
Would still be with you today.
