A sizzling coal in a midnight sky

Earth, an ember, breathes a sigh

Meteors crash and sparks fly

The end is coming, drawing nigh

Fire’s burning battle cry

Every flame must die

Leaves me with a sence of strong emotion. Only thing I would say, though very minor, is that the last line feels a syllable short to me. But it flowes quite well into the rest so it's fine, just thought I'd mention it.
