Break the glass,
Connect the pieces,
But they won’t align the same.

Change the colors,
Shatter the pieces,
A rainbow could be made.

Rearrange,
Change the depth,
Something will be born.

Put together,
In a order,
An art has been born.

Put some glue,
Between the cracks,
This art is better than the original.
It is our mosaic.

The author's comments:
I was inspired by an arts festival I went to over the summer. I saw may beautiful paintings and sculptures for sale and for show. Right before me and my friends left for the day, I saw a stand that was selling Mosaics. There were mosaics of blue, green, yellow, etc. I was speechless as to how beautiful mosaics were in person, as I had only seen them in books. They were amazing.
