love is tricky
we're all aware it's rickety
but in yet we keep falling
and stalling
how we truly feel
we may reel away
yet we can't stay away
it's like an addiction
that usually results in addition
something bad
that half the time ends up sad
it can be false or played
even like chirades
you have to guess and assume
throw out your resume and go with the room
go against your judgement, out on a limb
commit acts in the name of sin
no this isn't love
but it's something portrayed to be
that's the misconception
the depth of our perception
of love
flawed with this day and age
it now traps us in a cage
with a baby in our arms crying
and crying and it just won't stop
this isn't what love is
not what it's supposed to be
this isn't what the fairytales say
this false love is here to stay
