Faith of broken hearts
She tells me that I’ll only get hurt,
But she’s only worried for herself,
She’s worried that love is a trap,
As if love was bad for your health.
As if love was meant for fools,
But I play equal sides of this game,
As I know I’m bound for pain,
But I take my poison all the same.
For I feel we can make it work,
 We are worth fighting for,
So I won’t give up on her,
And I won’t do it again, I swore.
 I’ll show her the world,
If only a glimpse of hope,
All I need is her hand, a little faith,
That I will cause no pain.
