Memories
I’m sitting in my room,
 trying to remember
 those days where
 I didn’t care.
 Those days where,
 I didn’t get mad
 too often
 or empty
 too often
 or upset
 at nothing
 too often.

 It comes back
 in a rush.
 Teasing me
 with fleeting memories
 It’s unforgiving-
 it doesn’t let me
 pause,
 or rewind;
 it just keeps going.
 Unstoppable.
 And then
 without
 warning me,
 it stops
 completely.
