Fall to the Floor
She yells the words
As I walk by
I laugh sadistically and say,
"Maybe I will."
I walk to the bathroom
I count the items in my pocket
Lighter, chapstick
Bobbypins, knife
I go into the stall
I come out
She's there
In front of the mirror
She starts to sneer
Then she sees my arms
Elbow to wrist
Angry red lines
Dripping red tears
Three on each arm
Just as she told me to
She screams
Runs outside
Calls for help
Isn't this what she wanted?
I'm only doing as she said
I fall to my knees
My clothes are stained red
It no longer hurts
My head's on the tiles
The world has turned sideways
And it's getting blurry
I faintly hear
"Where is she?"
"She's in there
I don't know why she did it."
There's a note in my pocket
It reads,
TELL THEM WHAT YOU SAID TO ME
I reach for it
Pull it out
It falls by my face
As my vision fades
I smile
She'll get what she deserves
And I'm gone.
