"Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing." ~Camille Pissarro

You don’t know where you are now
but you know where you are from
You’re from the friction on a butterfly’s wings
You’re from the bottom of an empty black hole
You’re from the collision of two runaway trains
You’re from stardust, neutrons, ancient life forms
and mostly you are from
a look I couldn’t understand
mingled with the uncomfortable concept of life
and a feeling much like the one you’re having now
as you awake from a nine month sleep
and taste the air that will one day beat another’s wings

When you ask where you were born
I can give you a room number
When you ask where you belong
I can calmly introduce you to our friend the chaos theory
and explain that with your atoms fully charged
(my dear, we both can see they are)
there is no way you’ll ever sit still
I could teach you the Big Bang
I could say that life was spoken
Or I could wait for you to wander to a place that seems like home
and take that second gasp of air

No words. Beautifull written. Nothing I would change. Intressante.
