We are always there
With a helping hand and kind word
We are goody two-shoes
We are as silent as a winter snowfall
On a December night
We are goody two-shoes
We are the teacher’s pet
Hand always raised to answer any question
We are goody two-shoes
Stuck-up, shy, shunned for our manners
Ignorant to the rest
We are good two-shoes
We are always prepared
Never a pencil out of place
We are goody two-shoes
Our books are an adventure
In our ordinary lives
Even though we may seem this way at first glance
We make mistakes like anyone else
Get to know us, then you’ll see
