The One Who Sees
I've got nothing to say,
Nothing to write.
Nothing to tell you its alright.
I see the worlds clashing
People smashing
And left to wonder why.
I've got nothing to do
And nothing to think about.
All I have is my view.
It's distracted and wrong to some
But I see my own light.
You see the world through rose colored glasses,
They tell me,
That's okay,
That's alright.
You don't need to feel alive.
Turn your back and cry at night,
There's nothing to lose.
Nothing to lose?
Even through my distorted and tainted view,
I can tell that there is everything to lose.
The worlds was a pretty picture till we muddled it all.
And if we sit and wait for wrong to fall,
We will never do anything.
So through my view, thick and tainted, maybe I'm the one who sees.
It's not those who sit around who make something of themselves,
I tried once to see your way, but all it did was blind me.
So with my eyes, tainted and poor,
I'll see the light.
