Statistically Thinking
My limbs are numbers.
No longer do you see a collection of
Arms
Legs
Hands
Feet.
But statistics where my legs once were.
A percentage where an arm should be.
I have a dollar sign for a torso.
When you look
You won’t see
Skin
Muscle
Bone.
Just a monetary value
Where a ribcage should be.
My face,
Is no longer
Eyes
Nose
Mouth.
But a collection of lines
(a barcode).
Just a simple
(somehow still complex)
Black and white
Collection of lines.
Thick and thin.
That you will scan
And then know
My value.
