Dear God,
Dear God,
Maybe one day I’ll see you, maybe I’ll be another of your angels in heaven.
I know how you love us all and all, but sometimes I just can’t believe that,
and no matter how I try I can’t.
I want to be closer to you,
but the plain and simple fact is that I might be going to hell.
I’ll pack my bags and head for the gates,
and half way there you’ll turn me around and hug me while I cry.
And maybe by then I can actually feel something,
fear, pain, love, anything.
I think you have it, those emotions that I lack God.
Just give them to me already.
I won’t abuse them like I thought I would.
