Lines
I despise lines
 Because I see them
 In everything that leaves me
Staring at the ceiling at night.
Lines that never want to connect
 Just right,
 No matter how beautifully
 They meet in my head.
Lines to remind me of the things
 I was trying to forget
 Under clothes and
 Softer lines that
 Never look sharp enough
 In mirrors.
 Waiting in a line
 That moves so slowly
 Only until the end where
 It's just a flash of a memory.
Everything I see is made of lines
And I've been wasting all my time
 Trying to find my way
From point A to point B.
