It’s pretty big,
The stain,
I mean.

The ink got on the wall.

It's amazing,
What the flick of a pen can do,
I mean.

It's dark and prominent,
The stain,
That is.

You can see it,
The ink, of course,
right away.

If only it was darker,
The wall,
that is.

Yes, yes, yes! I love it! This is true writing--it's playing with words and rearranging them in a way no one else could have ever thought of, making your own mark in the same old, same old, tired out English language we've been using for *forever* by leaving the reader with this amazing sense that I just discovered something profoundly different and *new.* The line breaks, the brevity, the nonchalance all just *work.* I'm completely hooked on, what was that again, ink on the walls? ;)

I enjoyed this poem! The last verse really put it together!
