Seaweed
Will you be my seaweed and I’ll be yours?
We can wave in the current all day long
And pretend that we are moors
The rhythm of the sea can’t compare to our song
Would you float with me forever?
Caressing the fish
Making my heart beat never, never, never
Will I ever stop to make another wish
Could you and I terrify the shrimp?
Swaying from side to side
Our style would never have a crimp
We would always be saved by the coolness of the tide
Should we take the time to see?
If we could stay all day off the shores
And find peace and a place to simply be
Will you be my seaweed and I’ll be yours?
