Welcome to my world today
When wistful dreams just fall away
Wither into mournful dust
And fade into what I once did trust
Wake me up when the dream does end
Lest I forget around the bend
From darkness to the morning light
I shake my head and laugh in spite
For the dreams they
Tarnish and melt like wax
Puddle on the pages, blurred syntax
The words are raw and overrun
As I am broken and
Undone.
