Rage.

Though it is a beast,
It is my escape from reality.
The anger of others rubs off on me,
And I am turned into a fiery demon.

Most look at me
As the nerd. The friendly goody-two-shoes.
But it is what is on the inside that counts.

On the inside,
I am rage.
Pure, unaltered, beautiful rage.

I am a stick of dynamite with the longest fuse in the world.
But once that fuse lights, it burns up quickly.
When I explode,
I burst into rage.

Pure, unaltered, beautiful rage.

This is true down to the very last word, as most of my poems are. I was writing too many lovey-dovey poems, so I started writing stuff that's cold and heartless.

Cool poem, and most of the stuff I write are very cynical and depressing. I think it's the best type of stuff. ^-^
