Flowing through my inner soul,
is something that wont let me go.

When it tries to stop my fun,
I try to hide, I try to run,

It hides me from all things wrong,
If I give in and come along.

I keep going to my past,
yet it always tries to bring me back,


Flowing through my inner soul,
is something I am trying to control.

When I give in to this wonderful thing,
I dance, I shout, I run, I sing.

But when I'm done, I tuck it back inside,
And try to hide this glorious prize.

If not used through out my life,
I'll be an empty shell of turmoil and strife.


Flowing through my inner soul,
is something that needs to show.

It wanders through my heart and mind,
Inspiring me to be divine.

It turns every weakness into something strong,
and makes me feel as though I belong.

And even if I try to hide,
it draws me back into the light.
