I'm waiting for something
But I don't know what;
Maybe I'm waiting for
The world as we know it
To come collapsing in on
This very spot where
We now sit together
Staring up at the stars;
Or maybe I'm waiting for
A breath a clean air
That wont sting my lungs
As I draw it in; or
Maybe I'm waiting for
Something more simple;
Just happiness and love
And light and warmth
From your body to mine
And whether you know it
Or not; you're
Whats keeping me
Alive
