My Mother
I see white of eyes
they’re all looking at me
I feel like my stomach is being restrained
My heart feels like it's crawling up my throat
My lungs burn like a flash fire
My arms ache, its hard to lift the paper
My legs cringe under the weight of my body
My knees clatter together
I see my mother
She looks at me and smiles
My stomach is no longer hurting
My heart returns to normal
My lungs no longer burn
My arms ache no longer
My legs can hold the weight of my body
My knees no longer clatter
My mother reassures me
She is the person that I love the most
