Time to Forgive
Conscious of time slowly slipping away,
falling to end up forgotten,
and left by those unwilling.
Left alone and dead as if,
marked from the beginning.
Arrogance left behind to comfort,
innocence as time warps even that.
Anger, abandonment, and hate
build a wall shielding the soul,
and hammering closed the,
open gates of youth.
Healing come in the form of years, Forgiveness left behind with time,
to fight its way back to the present.
Is it real or an untrue mine
seeking condolences for the crime?
