Green grass rippling in the breeze,
The sight of blooming flowers,
Birds returning from the south,
Chirping in the morning.
New leaves growing on trees,
The children outside playing,
Sun rays shining down on them,
Tanning their pale faces.
Lakes free of ice,
With boats skimming across their surfaces,
And people relaxing in the water.
School is out,
Homework is done,
Students can relax,
And my favorite time of year is finally here,
