I am alone.
I am alone.
Though I am surrounded by people in crowds. Moving. Chatting with one another. Cranky, happy, neutral. Swiftly moving through the streets. "MOVE, YOU IDIOT!" goes through one ear and out the other.
There I stand. Waiting. For my other half. "Stay." I hear. "Very good. Die now." I hear. I am still waiting. For him or her to find me. To find me and stop me. But they never come. Standing, there, in the middle of the street not caring if I got hit by a car- not caring if I was run over and smothered into the stinging hot concrete- not... caring. Because I, am alone.
