Knotted
Knots. I am ridiculously goodbat untying knots.
In all honesty, I have no idea how it happened.
It wasn't one of those sudden,
leap
of
faith
moments, but rather a gradual inclination toward
order.
I didnt wake up one morning and feel an indescribable
pull
or
push
To loosen the knots that hold us captive.
Instead, I slowly, methodically learned how to grab hold of the rope.
how to dig my nail under its many loops straight to the
center.
how to pull
Gently but firmly.
I had to learn the hard way that some knots need to be cut.
Severed
With no mercy because to saw at the rope is to leave a fraying edge.
And that edge becomes a catastrophic mess.
Becomes loose ends that can never be fully tied back together.
