Supression
It’s easy to be angry at something you don’t understand.
Something that seems so far away,
out of reach.
How can you understand something when you take a stand against it?
I stand,
behind the man that tries.
He tries to come out and be himself,
he stands alone.
Against society and the life we deem normal.
Who are we to determine what it normal?
For this one man, normal is abnormal for us.
You stand against me,
against him.
You stand against an entire society of people, who feel oppressed,
Who feel neglected.
Who are being shunned.
Is this who you want to be?
The enemy?
Because this is who you have become.
Not just to them,
but to their supporters.
Do you understand what you’ve done?
Do you understand the hate you’ve caused?
The pain you’re inflicting?
The lives you’re destroying?
That you’re taking away…
Congratulations,
You won,
They have to hide who they are,
They have no freedom.
They have nothing.
Is this what you wanted?
