I think I've fallen
And I cannot get up
My faith is dying
But I must move on
You were special
You'll always have that soft spot in my heart

That smile crushes me on the spot
Your compassion
Your care
The reasons I've fallen
It backfires
And I'm pinned down once again

Feelings tide over
I let go
I think its over
But drown all over again

The author's comments:
As sappy as this sounds, yes, this poem is about "love" and a guy I used to like, but this is to those who can relate and know the feeling. Just know there really are many fish in the sea so someday you'll be able to move on. Don't waste your time crying for someone who wouldn't be for you.
