One Night
The night that lived
Will I remember?
Or will it be dismembered
Into the space that holds memories?
It was the night of the century
For every living souls
That were fortunate enough
On this land enrolled.
And on this night we forget
The misery of the world
With joy, we sweat
With sweat, they hurl.
And we have forgotten
The pride we once took
In our determination
For reading a book.
While the world envies
With purpose they incline
We smile casually
With pride we align.
But that is no matter
We are still the best
There are no one better
Except one not in West.
But we have not forgotten
How to live the night
While our minds rotten
We fall from the height.
