Your Moods & My Travels
Sometimes your voice sounds like the way
rain runs down car windows, but when you're
sleepy, it sounds like rust.
When you're upset, it sounds like the cackling of fire on wet logs.
When you're happy, your voice is the way flowers bloom.
Your laugh takes me to the beach on a cloudy day, when there's barely anyone there, and I can walk the entirety of the coast alone.
I don't need planes or cars to travel anymore, not since I met you.
